The background of the book
This work book has been developed and tested as a part of start-up training for entrepreneurs in Denmark by business coach Marina Mana Petersen. The plan was developed with the intention to provide her trainees an alternative to the conventional business planning process, as Marina time and again experienced that her students did not complete the required business planning process, simply because the conventional process was too complex and too academic to go through.
Thinking of all the passionate entrepreneurs trying to create their businesses in her class, she thought “It should be more fun working with their dreams!” So, she set out to develop a tool that would make it both fun, accessible and exciting to explore their business idea while in the same process collect all the elements of a traditional business plan.
